Finally, at long last, I have finished the long boring class also known as Driver's Ed. I can't believe that it was only three weeks. It seemed much longer than that, much longer. I mean really, how many movies can you show about drunk driving and watching the signs on the road? We get it. Don't drink and drive and make sure that you can read. It's not that hard people. I can't believe people actually fail that class. The questions on the test require absolutely no brain power whatsoever. I think they should just be a little bit more carefull about who they put on the road because believe me, my cat could pass the test with no problem.
But enough ranting for one day. Let me enlighten you on the things that did go right. I had my first ever driving lesson. Talk about being scared out of your mind. At first I was soo nervous, but my teacher is super nice and he doesnt get mad if you do something wrong. By the end he told me that I was one of his better students (which just made my day). Then I changed seats with the girl I was driving with and "observed". My teacher doesn't really care what we do in the backseat because we're watching an inexperienced driver. So that wouldn't be the best way to learn how to drive. She was okay. She stopped and started to fast, but it was her first time and I did the same thing.
Hopefully I'll get better at this stick shift thing. So far I can't drive that well. Just some time is all I need.
