Leaving (almost)

It's almost here! My vacation of the summer is just around the corner! My mom brother and I are flying over to Boston where my aunt works. We'll be spending a week there doing all kinds of tourist-y things. So that should be exciting. What I'm really looking forward to is the ocean.

But before we leave for Boston, there's the packing and the getting ready. Packing all your clothes for a week doesn't leave you much for you to wear before you leave. But you have to pack relatively early so we're not rushing at the last minute. But the packing is what's the most frustrating. I'm packing for a week, so I want to bring at least a weeks worth of clothes just in case. My aunt is letting us use her washing machine and dryer, but what happens if my clothes get wet or something and i just need another change of clothes? Yeah, that's what I thought. Bring extra clothes. But now I have hardly any space left over for anything that I might want to bring back.

And on top of that my mom bought my 12-year-old brother a new suitcase because he needs one. So instead of buying him something that is suitable for a boy, she buys him the biggest one that she can find. So I'm stuck with an average size suitcase, while my brother has a huge-ass suitcase and won't end up using half the space inside of it.

But enough venting for now. I just wanted to update you on my upcoming trip. I'll try to post all of my adventures as they happen.
